Do you get souvenirs on trips? Sometimes we do and sometimes we don't. We used to let the kids pick out something small on every trip but over the years we just have too many toys and little useless stuff around our house so now we try to steer clear of those type of souvenirs. On one recent trip to Disneyland our youngest son got a small plush toy but the older ones got useful items. One kid got a hat and two other kids got coffee mugs. They don't drink coffee but they do like to make hot chocolate so we thought that was a great idea. The coffee mugs have great designs on the outside that remind us of our trips but they are practical and fit nicely in the cupboard without cluttering up our house. What are your souvenir strategies?

Photos are fun for me and especially on a trip I want to take a lot of photos to remember what we did and what we saw. I post a few photos on FB or Instsagram but for the bulk of my photos I save them to my computer and I use them to make photo albums. I usually make a full album for each Disney Parks or Disney Cruise trip. If we take a week long trip to Disneyland I will make a 20 page photo album just of that trip. My favorite online photo album maker is Shutterfly. I usually make one or two full photo albums using Shutterfly every year. I like to start making those big albums within a few months of returning from the trip so the memories are still fresh. We always get excited to see our trip in photo form when I finish a book and it comes in the mail. Sometimes the kids will even help me make pages on Shutterfly by suggesting embellishments or choosing which photos will make the page. For me making the book is a fun way to remember our travels and be thankful for all that we have and all that we get to do. What do you do with travel photos and what tips or tricks do you have to help others?
